1.佩瑟芬是公爵梅罗纹奇的妻子，梅罗纹奇是MATRIX系统内的又一个超级神秘人物，他把自己象“先知”那样隐藏在系统中，如同回收站，收集非法程序，同时他也拥有改写系统程序的能力。但是，他并不是站在NEO这边。他住在矩阵系统内的一座城堡里，沉迷于一切奢华的东西。然而，他唯一缺少的便是感情；俗话说，得不到的才是更好的，他也最热衷于沉迷在感情的虚像里。佩瑟芬是这样一位Dracula公爵似人物的妻子。熟悉希腊神话的同志们都知道，佩瑟芬乃希腊神话中的“丰饶之神”，是主神宙斯和女神底米特之女，后来该仙女在玩耍的时候不小心被冥王哈第斯绑架，半推半就地做了后者的王后。电影中的佩瑟芬极其性感迷人，虽然她本身没有感情，但是只要她接触了某人，就会立刻感知对方的内心世界。但是她具体有什么能力，电影没说
